Kingdom of Ash

By Sarah J. Maas

And with this as the end of an amazing series, I was speechless after reading this book, I went into a one month reading slump. I felt every emotion that was experienced in this book, cried, severely jugged characters, wanted to throw the book across the room and was heartbroken.

I really loved Elide and Lorcan’s relationship development after he’d made the unforgivable mistake in “empire of storms”, I loved how she went into a battlefield even if she was going to die to save Lorcan. Rowan was another story in this book, he became even more protective of Aelin, Chaol and Yrenn and the flanks that followed them came back to Adarlan to help fight the war.

I hated the death of the thirteen, I cannot say how much that was heartbreaking to read Manon’s reaction and realization, but at least she got to take her rightful place on the throne.

The end was breathtaking, I was very glad that the full group got a happy ending. I am telling to run, not walk, run and buy this series it was something to remember and I always will cherish it in my heart.
