Shoyo Hinata is a boy who decided to practice volleyball after witnessing the player known as “Little Giant” on the court. When participating in his first and only official game of an elementary school tournament, he swears revenge for his tormentor, Tobio Kageyama, and for that, he decides to enter Karasuno High School. However, what is not his surprise to find Kageyama there too. At first, the two just fight, but Hinata's impressive physical fitness and Kageyama's precise lifting make the two stand out on the court. During the training friendly with Nekoma High School, Karasuno's former and fatal rival, the duo looks for new attacking possibilities. After losing the game, and vowing a rematch against Nekoma in the National Tournament, Karasuno prepares for the Intercollegiate challenge! In the third game, Karasuno is at the mercy of Seijoh's ace, setter Oikawa. The coach then makes a bold decision: replace Kageyama with Sugawara on the court! |
