We are happy, as a family, to introduce to the literary society in Lebanon the work and thoughts of Clemence Massaad Musa, a friend as well as a delightful writer.We have been watching the literary career of Clemence Musa for over two decades, and have witnessed, firsthand, the growth both; in her spiritual as well as literary ascent. Her style is poetic even when she writes prose. Her prose is steady and balanced when she uses it to write poetry. She is a dedicated Sufi writer, as well as believer. Her prose was deemed deep and touching; as she touches on the innermost psyche of the human condition, her poetry calm, and probing; as she approaches life with the eye of a calm observer; never needing neither praise nor stopping much before criticism. We believe her work to be worthy of attention; as she approaches life with the mindfulness of the balanced mind. She is a writer that has done a great deal to advance, in her journey, the cause of humanity as a whole; as one family of same attributes with differentiating details.
